Zen Nightstands
Zen combines a lower drawer with an open shelf, held between curved side wings. The visible opening provides a contrast to the enclosed storage below and gives the bedside piece a layered outline.
The reference design uses covered curved sides and a separate central surface. Select the size and materials together, comparing the shelf opening with the objects it needs to hold and the upper surface with the height of the mattress.
