Which furniture dimensions matter?
Check overall dimensions and seating dimensions separately.

Seat height, seat depth and arm dimensions describe how a piece is used; they differ from its overall width, depth and height. For modular sofas, check the dimension drawing for your chosen configuration. Also measure doorways, lifts and corners along the delivery route. Contact us to confirm any specifications that are not listed.
Draw the complete arrangement
Record the overall width, depth and height of the exact configuration you want. For curved or modular sofas, use the outermost points of the assembled layout and confirm the orientation of each section. Individual module dimensions alone may not describe the space needed for the full arrangement.
Measure the room and delivery route
Mark the furniture footprint on a floor plan and check space around doors, drawers and walking routes. Measure clear doorway widths and heights, corridor corners, stair landings and lift entrances. For a lift, record the internal dimensions as well as the door opening. Include handles or fixed fittings that reduce clearance.
Ask about the packed dimensions
Send your chosen model, layout and access measurements with photographs of tight corners. Ask for the dimensions and weight of each packed piece and whether any parts can be removed for delivery. Confirm these details before arranging transport; a product photograph cannot establish access clearance.
